Date and Time

Post by mitsi »

I'm getting very confused, (Not difficult). When I read some of the replies on forums there arn't many that seem recent. When I have replied I appear to have travelled back in time too. I wouldn't mind but I'm still making the same mistakes and I still don't have money in the bank!!!

Mitsi,
The dates and times seem OK on my computer. Tells me that your posted your question today, Thursday 6th April at 9.08 am.
Could it be that your computer clock date and time have for some reason been changed?

Interesting, I get this :

mitsi Posted: Thu Apr 06, 2006 10:08 am Post subject: Date and Time

I'm posting this at 18.56 (16.56 GMT)

You need to set your timezones in your profile, and I guess the phpBB converts the original posting time to the readers local time ?

Peter, I see yours as posted at 5:56 pm and I'm an hour ahead of GST - so yes it does seem to convert it to the user's local time.

Hi

If you are in France, you are now 2 hrs ahead of GMT, does your profile show that ? The auto summer time adjustment doesn't seem to work with phpBB !

Then you would have the same time as me ?

Hi,
We are two hours ahead of GMT but only 1 hour ahead of Summer Time as our clocks go forward at the same time. According to my computer you posted at 9:05 pm.
