Best prices for TVs in CDS

I need to replace my TV which has been used with a digital box.

The new TV's are already digital it will save me a lot of cable work & re turning after each visit due to not using the TV for a long period of time i.e. when I am not there.

Can the forum users recommend me a shop or a store that has choices & good prices. (I know good prices is relative)

I don't know exactly where you are but any store such as Media Markt will be OK. I was pricing up TVs for a friend at our local Euronics store on Monday:

Samsung 28” - 249€
Samsung 32” - 269€
LG 32” - 279€
Samsung 40” - 389€
LG 42” - 399€

These were standard digital televisions, not Smart TVs.

A digital TV would have a digital tuner built in which can receive your local TV, normally over the air and decode it.

A smart TV would tend to have an internet connection and a load of software applications on it.

It always make me laugh if something is so smart why does it need all the software, cables etc,etc.
