Weather link

Post by gh »

Need some help in finding this. Seen this type of link mentioned before, can anyone point me in the right direction, tried for ages searching to no avail. Would like to put one on our site, seen one that was a 'globe' type.

Then need to work out how to add it  TIA.

Is this the sort of thing you mean?

http://www.weather.com/services/oap.htm ... oter&ref=/

This may only work for the US, but it's worth a try!

Or there's Weather Underground - find your nearest place and at the bottom of the psage is "Free Weather Stickers for Your Homepage".

www.metcheck.com is good, and gives accurate 7-day forecasts, splitting the day into 3. Unfortunately it does need a bit of ingenuity for some countries.

The initial field, sticking in the postcode, is fine for the UK. However, for ski/snow info we have to go through its Alpine link, which isn't easy to find.

There are stacks of other sites, this was the most accurate for us.

That's the one I use for the properties in Spain. Fairly user friendly, and easy to put on the site.
