Potential booking - in Euros

I take the rate of the day and the booking is fixed at that rate

Indeed that is what I did - then rounded it down slightly - happy to take a slight hit on the exchange rate as this is a fairly late booking.

I'd rather have the booking & take a slight hit on the exchange rate - than lose the booking.

Thanks for all the advise - just waiting for the money to hit my French bank a/c now.
