Chefs in the Riberac area, Dordogne - any recommendations?

Post by DivineMrsM »

We have a number of guests booked with us for next year who require the services of a chef to cater for a special celebratory dinner.

Does anyone know of a good chef in the area that they can recommend? I'm sure we could track one down locally, but it would be good to have some personal recommendations.

Thanks :)

OK - I can answer my own question now

This year we have been able to offer our guests the services of Tracey and Massimo Orione from www.chauffour.com. They have provided wonderful catered meals from a choice of menus (French, Italian, Far East/Indian) for very reasonable prices. If anyone else needs this type of service, we can highly recommend them.

Hey DivineMrsM,

I was just wondering yesterday about what had happened to you - and here you are! Nice to hear from you again. :)

Aw - thanks Paolo. I must confess to being rather stunned to discover that I hadn't posted since April...!

Lots has been going on in the Mendoza household (which I won't bore you with right now) but the last few months have raced by with alarming alacrity...

Needless to say your newsletter prompted me to pay a visit. Glad to see the forum is blooming.
