"ayant droit" or "conjoint collaborateur"

Hello... Despite lots of research I'm still confused about "ayant droit" or "conjoint collaborateur" and find this forum more helpful than anything else.
We've got a meeting at the Chamber de Metiers in the morning so need to have made a decision by then and would really appreciate some input from LMH. My husband and I will be running gites/B&B specialising in Textiles holidays and cycling holidays AND I'm going to be making and selling Textile products, mainly Christening wear. We know we need a joint registration because the two come under different Chambers but I'm conscious of the tax implications of it all and am not sure if my husband should be listed as a "conjoint collaborateur" or "ayant droit"...
Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.
