I bought some Allibert sun loungers for the pool last year and by the end of the summer the long grey cushions that came with the loungers had "water marks" where people had been sitting on them in wet swimming costumes.
The covers for the cushions are not removable for cleaning. Anyone any experience of successfully cleaning these cushions? If so, what did you use/do please?
If not - how have you managed to keep the cushions looking respectable?
Thanks for any thoughts / suggestions. Sue

Thanks for your replies everyone. Looks like I'm going to have to make those covers! I'm just concerned whether they'll look ok. The Allibert cushions come with a "fold" where the back can be raised and I'm wondering how to get the loose cover to behave so that it allows for that fold without looking all wrinkled.

We found suitable material at Mondial Tissus, Bergerac. I think they have branches elsewhere depending where you are. We found material with coloured stripes, as tough as dennim and it doesn't really show much when you fold the cushions. You just need a good sewing machine to make them.
