Guardia Civil registering guests
Guardia Civil registering guests
Hi, I have received my Guardia civil password and username to register guests
I went on yesterday to try to register the next set of guests but it kept saying the date was wrong
Is it because the guests are not due to arrive until next week?
Can I only register them upon the day of arrival?
Thanks

Thanks Marks, do you mind if I ask a couple of questions!
I submit their name, date of birth, passport etc all of which I will have collected before they arrive as villa sleeps 20 so planning ahead!
Do they have to sign anything or I just submit the details and thats it?
Many thanks for any guidance

I don't submit details to the Guardia civil until my guests have actually arrived, then I have 24 hours to do this.. This is probably why you are getting problems with the date as you are doing it too soon.. once you have clicked on agreed the guardia will have received the details, in fact there is a little box you can click on to get confirmation that they have received them,
There is also a box to click on to print the details so that you have a copy to keep this is what you get your guests to sign..

The guests have to sign and that is very important. For the GC to see plus agreeing to privacy laws.mousey wrote:Thanks Marks, do you mind if I ask a couple of questions!

If you want a form there is one on the GCs website. It is in PDF in A4 size. However, just went through the process to write down for you and it came up corrupted. The form will be in Spanish(it has to be be to be valid, but maybe English or other language(s) as well could be acceptable) plus the GC's form has nothing about the privacy laws. So all in al it is rubbish.
Never try to out-stubborn your guests.
Thanks Is this correct
I submit the info on gcwebsite within 24 hours of check in
I print the pdf the go website then issues
I get lead guest to sign it
I keep a copy for 3 years at the villa
I submit signed copy to go website
I didn’t realize I had to get anything signed!
Will all guests be listed on the one pdf to be signed?
Another thing I found strange when logging in to go was that they don’t ask how many nights
thanks in advance

Some corrections.
Keep copies for 5 years. 5 years for accounts!
New privacy laws must mean you store the Guests data in a safe place in other words nobody can access it only or or a nominated person. There has been some discussion on this already on LMH.
One cannot submit anything to the GC website. As you have sent the data already that is sufficient.
By law each guest over the age of 16 has to sign their forms. You will be doing a lot of printing and storing

First click on Generar parte viajeros from the options on the LHS.
Fill in your guests details
Click on agree to send to the guardia and print your copy
Then click on Ver envois realizados again from the options on the LHS and fill in the dates of their stay .
You have the option again to print out your copy if you forgot to do it previously .
You need to have a copy for each of your guests over 16 years of age to sign, then you keep them in a locked cabinet .
I am in Granada province, so presuming that all other provinces are the same but this might not be the case.
