We got caught in one of those sillies again in Sunbeam's post and there is a very clear fundamental point that ALL OWNERS need to be clear on. The difference between "vivienda turistica" and "apartamento turistico" and the legal implications.
So, I did a google search for "diferencias entre vivienda turistica y apartamento turistico"
Take a look at the various explanations and you will see why I maintain that private holiday rentals do not fall into the sector of "hostaleria".
I am not a lawyer but I have a fairly good understanding of Spanish and have translated many legal documents as a side-line of my language school.
