Val, I think that getting your brochures into the RSPB visitor centre is likely to bring rather more enquiries than the original magazine ad. Good luck with it.

Exchanging Rooms for Advertising
The "barter" is no new concept. But we've offered -- with great success -- free nights in the low season to owners or reps at advertising mediums (magazines, newspapers, tv shows, radio shows...etc). This allows us to get credit at the top exposure publications without paying a dime. Because our rooms would sit empty anyway, it's a no brainer barter and our competitors often wonder "how can they afford such expensive spots?!?!"
