As I post this, my clock and every clock around me says it's 9:41 a.m. (GMT-5). But I bet the post will say I posted about 20-30 minutes later. I've noticed this lately....

You're right, it's because Lay My Hat is not subject to the normal constraints of space/time, it's in its own free-floating time-zone above the cares of the world, which is about half an hour ahead of the cares of the world. That's the techie answer.
