Gas cooker advice

Post by Bella »

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but when looking at gas cookers, does it have to state whether they are for bottled gas, if that is what your require?

I have seen a few advertised and they don't always specify mains or bottled.

Cheers in hope,

They come with town or bottled jets which you can fit accordingly to your supply.

In France, bottled gas and mains gas use different burner jets. When buying a new cooker you simply specify which you want and they supply and fit accordingly.

As a rule of thumb if the flame is yellow or orange or somthing in between the two you have big problems........... ie you could die.
