My mother is very lucky as she has a son in the UK, a son in Australia & myself and my brother in Spain so she has three separate mothers days as they all fall in different months! :D

13th - I always remember the Live Aid gig as it was 13th July 1985!!! got that question in pub quizzes a few times. My 21st was Fri 13th but no bad luck. I always take 13 on roulette etc and it is fairly lucky for me :)
Anyone's birthday today/this week we can make a fuss of??

Sue,

Apparently today the 8th March is International Women's Day so my wish is that you all have a good day.

For those who would like more information about International Women's Day and a completely unbiased view on the world take a look at:-

Another, more fun, Website is:-

Thanks Alan. :)
I'd spotted the Women's Day earlier, google are great at changing their logo to celebrate events.

Apparently I share my birthday with Harrison Ford, Patrick Stewart and Cheech Marin (Cheech & Chong??) They're the only ones I recognise from the list. They've never sent me a card though so I'll not send them one!

I had the coolest 40th.. Went to New York, had dinner at The Oyster Bar at Grand Central Station, cocktails at The Algonguin, (didn't see Dorothy Parker though!) drank beer at the top of the Empire State Building and stayed a ridiculously overpriced upgraded room at The Hilton - it was bliss and I'll never forget it :) Knock yrselves out while you can

Me too! But I have no idea what to do. Having two toddlers really limits your options. I'd love to do the New York thing too - maybe for my 60th...
