Now I know we all need bookings but We are taking the kiddiwinks out tomorrow for a trip to the Zoo and adventure playground[the eldest kiddy will be 3 and theres about 80 of us going altogether]
This is an Annual event and is always looked forward to[and for different reasons this will be the last time we will go] Ive organised it for 17 years now...
So if you could all send Sunny....Unrainy..[allright I will just settle for unrainy thoughts]
to us in Norfolk It will be much appreciated

Have a luvveryly time Ros - tomorrow we have no rain forecast (amazingly enough), so I hope it is the same with you. But the children won't mind anyway, they love jumping in puddles and getting wet, it's the adults who get fed up with it! And the children will be so excited about seeing all the animals a bit of rain won't spoil it. Enjoy!

Mid may, we replanted the flood barrier that was put through our garden so I must confess that I am glad of this wet june...hopefully when we go out there next week, things will be sprouting like mad!

Everybody has got mildew in their 'potagers' (veg gardens) around here. I bet the price of lettuce goes up. BTW, does anyone know if you can get fresh batavia lettuce (complete with soil and occasional slugs) in the UK now? If so, I might consider moving back.

Thanks for the Good wishes ...They were warm even if the weather isnt ...
Im not too optimistic looking out the window..but its not actually raining..[which is good]
as Sue says the kids will have a good time anyway..for a lot of em going on a coach is a big adventure as most of the Mums have cars..[They can see so much more from the height of the coach and they all shout out ..when they spot the animals in the fields on the way and the train going past... ]
Then to be with theyre pals and have a picnic....

So Im sure it will be good fun ....Thanks again
