South of France in August 2007, open to offers

Post by Moon Dog »

After our hoilday in September we will be letting our house year-round as we have just had our first baby and want a steadier income for a while. However we still have availability in August if any LMH members fancy a week in our village house sampling great local wines, going to the beach (40 mins) or touring the Pyrenees.

We are open to offers far and wide as we're itching to visit new places after several years getting to know and love the Pyrenees Orientales. Please see www.estagel.co.uk for full details of the house, area and travel tips.

Congratulations Moondog!
I'm still getting enquiries for next week and the rest of August. Lots have people have said they are looking for a last minute holiday. Very last minute if it's for next week.

Thanks guys, we got there in the end! I must confess that I never thought that arranging holiday lets would be so demanding but getting a nice flow of happy holidaymakers through the house has restored my confidence that we have a viable investment. It has to be said that eBay was a great way to fill up earlier weeks and has got me far more web interest than holidaylets. (To be fair, they have produced as many sales though.) I've had lots of enquiries for medium term lets through a specialist site and have just signed up for another, which is probably the best way for us to go about maximising occupancy.

Maria Moon Puppy is doing very well, especially in the vocal department, thank you. We don't live in France yet and will be toiling away in the UK for many years to come but we have promised ourselves that we will take a year out before Maria reaches seven to live in France and let her soak up the beautiful language. Now that's what I call family planning!
