Same here. The only holiday he has ever booked was our honeymoon. As for my enquiries, 80% female. Male enquiries are usually for single-sex groups or friends rather than family.

Ahem, if we can get back to the survey, rather than indulging Rozzer's passion for hubby-trashing, I was about to say that we reckon our enquiries are pretty evenly divided.

If anything, we have a slightly higher preponderence of chaps booking - for their families, before you jump to conclusions - maybe of the order 55-45%, or at tops 60-40%.

I must say (going back to the personal) that I almost invariably do the bookings when we go away, although the Memsahib does most of the research, which we then chew over and distill down to a decision.

See Roz - men can do these things too!

Funnily enough...Helen asked this same question a while back. :D

For me it's virtually a 50/50 split between males and females making the booking.

And it was discussed here as well. :)

I wonder if there is a cycle to these sorts of questions...

I haven't looked this year to see who was doing the booking. I had several inquiries where both husband and wife signed the e-mail, so I don't know who was actually writing them, but it appears both were equally involved.

Hi Brooke
Sorry i hadnt realised
Oops, my apologies, I didn't mean to come across as chastising! Just trying to keep as many of these similar-topic threads linked so that newcomers to the forum can more easily find the info they need. The topic I linked to was around two years old, so it's not like we just discussed it yesterday! :)

About 75% women for us.

Something else I had noticed is that whoever makes the booking is usually the unofficial spokesperson for the group - even when there are 6 adults. So when the man makes the booking they are definately a different personality to the men who don't - more controlling and in charge.

I'd say 75% men for me. And...as my husband pointed out....those bookings all go like clockwork (i.e. payment on time etc) and when men enquire...the booking comes through faster.

Mols - you'll like this as....sadly girls...I had to agree with him  :(
