Thanks all - looks like I have plenty to get on with...
Really appreciate your feedback.
First stab at a website
casasantoestevo - how do I get the calendar to open in another window?
Being a novice web designer I've no idea how to do this...
eldrep - I think your idea for a romance package is brilliant. In fact, so brilliant that I have added it to the site.
I just need to work out what this package is now!
Thanks for all your advice chaps - it's all really helpful.

Hi Bob
Glad to be of assistance!
Am sure many of the LMHers will have ideas of what a 'romance package' would consist of!
For starters, my top ingredients would be chocolate, champagne, flowers, candles (with fire-proof holders, obviously!), and croissants etc for breakfast in bed.
I just asked my husband (of one year and 2 months) 'what else?' and he said 'Well, I dunno, do I? Maybe we need another trip to Brighton!
Re. opening stuff in another window, I can do links to other web pages in another window no probs (we're using 1and1) but when it comes to copying HTML across I haven't a clue! I wanted my weather button to open in another page but had to abandon the idea in favour of climate stats in the end.
So if anyone out there can explain in novice-language, I would also be interested ( I have searched the forums to no available, I'm sure there must be a thread out there somewhere)....
Cheers!
Sonia

Like you when we started off we knew nothing about web design. Our page is far from perfect. But little by little we are learning and resources such as this forum help.<img src="file location ref.jpg" alt="name of photo" width="***" height="***" border="**" />
