How many rooms, how many nights ?

Post by TTP mk2 »

About a month ago I received the following enquiry

Subject: Contact from website

Name: xxxx xxxxx
Email: xxxx@eircom.net
Message:
Hello, I wonder if you have 2 rooms available for the following dates: 1 double room 09/05/08-12/05/08 (3 nights) 1 double room 09/05/08-11/05/08 (2 nights) Many Thanks, Treasa

To which I replied:

Thank you for your enquiry.

We have one double & one twin room, both are available for the dates you mention.

I trust this is of interest & please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any further information.

Regards

Nick Thompson

I heard nothing more until last night when I received:

Hi Nick,

We will see you tomorrow evening. I have your number if we have trouble finding your location.

Many Thanks,

I would say the last option, lucky for them that you still have rooms available

Or yet another alternative:

They could phone at 11:30 asking for directions:-)
