Well I is sitting in Palma waiting for a weather window to cross to Barcelona. Its big city and I wondered if any of you good folk had any tips on must see, and eat, and drink, while we are here????

You get them round our way as well (Isla Canela, that is, not Essex). There are also loads of sihns around for Cebo Vivo - for a while I thought it was a brand of beer!!

There by the grace of God :shock: Just seen this, we planned to be in Andratx when this hit, We stayed in Palma because the weather was bad but not as bad as where we were headed.

RIP 1 guy died in this trying to save his boat.

Thank god you stayed where you were Paul!

We were hit with something similar last week and a french couple and their dog had to be rescued from their yacht. It was sad to see their possesions scattered around the beach...tho' some photo albums had been saved and put in the sun to dry. Nothing was left of their boat though.

I'm so sorry to hear someone lost their life.
